The focus of this Contest Judging workshop is to provide you with a toolkit of knowledge that can bring a new dimension to your personal and professional growth as you explore the mechanics of Toastmasters Speech Contests. We get to know the Rule Book, the quiet engine room of Speech Contests and expand our knowledge of all roles in the Speech Contest Judging Team.
We gain new insights into the leadership and values-driven responsibilities of the Chief Judge who sets the right tone for a positive and successful Speech Contest, developing an empowering Judge’s mind-set, and further understanding the qualities and objectives necessary for success. We finally unpack the Judges’ Guide and Ballot Criteria to ‘select a winner’.
